70 cm: the table size<\/h2>\n

InstantLED Mini light-up letters are 70 cm high, about 40 cm wide and 20 cm deep, in white metal with a neutral light. They stand on a table, a counter, a buffet or in a shop window. It is the size of candy bars, top tables and shop decorations. A first name or a heart in 70 cm complements a larger word very nicely.<\/p>\n

1m20: the versatile size<\/h2>\n

InstantLED Classic light-up letters are 1m20 high, about 80 cm wide and 30 cm deep, in white wood with a warm light. It is the most requested size: visible in a reception hall of 50 to 200 people, it goes through any door and stands in front of a dance floor, against a wall or in a garden. The warm light suits wedding decorations.<\/p>\n

1m40: for large spaces<\/h2>\n

InstantLED XL light-up letters are 1m40 high, about 90 cm wide and 30 cm deep, in white metal with a neutral light. They are the choice on a stage, in a reception hall, on a trade show stand, under a marquee or outdoors. The neutral light stands out well under stage lighting and is visible from afar, which makes it the size for corporate events and festivals.<\/p>\n

Which size of light-up letters for a wedding?<\/h2>\n

For a wedding, the Classic 1m20 remains the reference: LOVE in front of the dance floor, the initials at the entrance, MR and MRS for the first dance. The warm light matches candles, fairy lights and natural tones. The XL 1m40 takes over in a barn, a marquee or a hall with a very high ceiling. The Mini 70 cm dresses the candy bar or the children’s table.<\/p>\n

Which size for a birthday or a party at home?<\/h2>\n

At home, the 70 cm sits on a sideboard or a buffet and the 1m20 finds its place in a living room or on a terrace. The numbers of the age in 1m20 remain the most common choice for a birthday in a rented venue. In a restaurant, the 70 cm or the 1m20 at the entrance welcomes the guests without getting in the way of the service.<\/p>\n

Which size for a trade show or a stage?<\/h2>\n

In a hall, on a stand or on a stage, the 1m40 is the size that is visible from the aisles and from the back of the room. The neutral light stays readable under professional lighting. A brand name in 1m40 becomes the meeting point of the stand and the photo backdrop for visitors.<\/p>\n

Calculating the total width<\/h2>\n

To know whether your word fits in the space planned, allow about 80 cm per character in 1m20 and 90 cm in 1m40, plus a few centimetres of spacing. LOVE in 1m20 thus takes a little over 3 metres. The light-up letters stand against a wall or at the back of the stage, out of the guests’ way.<\/p>\n

Mixing sizes<\/h2>\n

Nothing stops you from combining: a first name in 1m20 with a heart in 70 cm, numbers in 1m40 with a word in 1m20. Ceiling height, doors and stairs<\/h2>\n

The 1m20 and 1m40 light-up letters go through a standard door and are carried by two people. A narrow staircase or a small lift can make access to an upstairs room more difficult: mention it in your request, our teams plan the necessary time and equipment. Under a low ceiling, the 1m20 stays in proportion; in a barn or a hall several metres high, the 1m40 avoids the effect of light-up letters lost in the space.<\/p>\n

Warm light or neutral light?<\/h2>\n

The size also determines the colour of the light. The Classic 1m20 in white wood gives off a warm light, close to candles and fairy lights, which suits weddings and family celebrations. The Mini 70 cm and the XL 1m40 in white metal give off a neutral, brighter light, which stands out under stage lighting or in a modern space. If you mix sizes, the two light colours go together without any problem in the photos.<\/p>\n

The case of numbers and symbols<\/h2>\n

Numbers, the ampersand, the hashtag and the heart come in the same 3 sizes as the light-up letters. The age of a birthday reads very well in 1m20 in a room and in 1m40 in a hall. A heart in 70 cm accompanies a larger word without competing with it. Allow the same width per character as for a letter: about 40 cm in 70 cm, 80 cm in 1m20 and 90 cm in 1m40.<\/p>\n
